A recent news release from the Environmental Working Group, a privately funded organization, made comments critical of Citra Solv. We strongly refute EWG's comments.

The main ingredient in Citra Solv is Food Grade D-limonene, the clear liquid from the peel of the orange. D-limonene has been proven safe by numerous agencies, including the IARC (International Agency for Research on Cancer), the University of Florida, the Florida Department of Agriculture, and the FDA, which has continually given D-limonene a GRAS (Generally Regarded as Safe) rating.
