My recent works are translations of my experiences in landscape personally and spiritually. I seek to give ‘breath’ to the landscape and a visual dance the way the light falls on the earth. The landscapes I paint appear untouched by man, thus rendering a calm, quiet meditative and spiritual quality. Feel the earth, the life we take for granted.

The pieces have atmospheric elements coupled with movement, light and shadow. The details of these quiet places are simplified to add to their mystery. As you gaze beyond the optical surface you will visualize natures most intimate secrets; a deepening of the senses and a feeling that breath occurs.

The light in each piece gently abstracts. There is a deliberate intention not to build structure or include fine detail, but to convey an impression of the senses of earth. With the combination of atmosphere and light, we read a sense of place and we can feel its pulse; a visual feast as well as a meditative experience.
